A comprehensive project for our customers
Edison NEXT’s Lab 2.0 project enables us to lead our customers (industries and municipalities) in their ecological transition journeys. We have doubled the operating capacity of our laboratories following building extensions and major investments in new instrumentation.
The customer
An energy multinational active in over 60 countries with diversified operations including oil&gas, electricity from cogeneration and renewable sources, refining and traditional and organic chemicals.
The solution
Effective processes, innovation, digitalization and customer satisfaction were the objectives in this project. To guarantee rapid response to the customer, Edison NEXT doubled the operating capacity of its laboratories by extending them and making major investments in advanced instrumentation also suitable for very high precision analysis. To guarantee instrument sensitivity and data precision and reliability, processes were completely digitalized by implementing new software systems capable of tracking and geolocating samples in all phases of monitoring, from in-the-field sampling through transport to analysis in the laboratories.
